NBC still sucks. The picture quality for last nights episode was awful. Anyways, the show was still very, very good. During the show I kept predicting things like Eden working for Claire's dad, or Claire's bio-parents actually not being her real parents, that they were someone Claire's dad either works with or hired, also I predicted that Niki's other half killed the crew and the guys playing poker...okay, some of you may have predicted it too, but I have Kacie as a witness.
Hiro had the defining hero moment. Where he should have done something and did not and now he feels bad. With great power comes great responsibility. If Uncle Ben never told Peter that, then Peter would never have became Spider-Man and went around saving the world. It was funny how he was all excited about carrying a sword too.
The Niki story became much more interesting. It is like she has a doppleganger or something and the other half has some strength. DL is like Kitty Pryde, and their fight scene was okay, not really badass or anything, but okay.
The interesting thing to me is that Eden told Claire's dad that Isaac and Peter got a message from a guy from the future who said "save the cheerleader, save the world." Claire's dad did not seem to like that. I wonder if they are going to pump Isaac full of heroin to see his visions of the future.
At what point will Peter and Nathan discuss their relationship with Hiro. Although, Nathan does not seem like the person who would believe any of it, he seems to act like even though he can fly, none of it is real.
My TiVo did not record the entire ending last night. Last thing I saw was Eden saying to Isaac that she was a big fan of his work. Anyone want to tell me if there was more or if the preview offered anything. Also, has NBC said how many more episodes there will be of the show?
Well anyways, lets have a fun time discussing what everyone thinks.

Lost Stuff
I did not know that last year during commercials of Lost, there would be fake ads for websites. And if you were smart enough/bored enough, you could work your way through and find a video about the Hanso Foundation. This is something I guess you miss out on if you just watch the DVDs, plus now I wonder if for this season I should check the commercials...
Anyways, here are some links that have helped me waste my day.

Party on Saturday

We are having a Halloween party over at Ryan and Stef's party this Saturday night. Everyone is invited to come, and if you would like directions just give me a call or email me: joshcroyle@gmail.com.
I bought a Nazgul costume, but do not know if i will wear it. I wore it to Karen's party, but unfortunately it does not really go well with drinking beer, I had to keep taking off the hood and mask, quite annoying. Plus the gauntlets I was wearing would make it hard to win many games of beer pong, which I am always looking for a solid partner. Instead I may dress up as Spider Jerusalem.
Anyways, let me know if you want to come, what you want to be for Halloween, and what I should do about my dilema.

Lost: Episode 304
Where do I even start? I think I will start with Desmond. I believe the whole time travelling idea may have been true. In this episode he knew where lightning was going to strike. He also knew Claire and the baby were in trouble when it struck. If that doesn't clue people in to his knowledge of the future than nothing really will. I think he may know what happens, but not exactly everything, and when bits come to him, it is only things that will happen shortly after.
The backstory about Sawyer gave him another layer. I knew from the get go that he was conning the guy. The part about him having a daughter, and then giving his share to her, even though he said he wanted nothing to do with her, was another great moment of us trying to hate him, but not being able to.
I think many people will complain about Jack not taking advantage of the situation of having one of their people on an operating table. I did not have a problem with how he handled it. He is a doctor, and saving the girl would in his mind be his first priority. And now that he knows one of them has a spinal tumor, he really controls more than he previously thought. Anyone think he will sleep with Juliet? I think he should, he has been on the island 60-70 days, has all these hot women around, and has not gotten laid, that is never a good sign. Plus sleeping with her, well he could say it was to get himself free or something.
Does anyone know if it is possible to inject a pacemaker? If it is not possible to do that, then Sawyer is just really dumb/gullable. I liked the great hike at the end, Sawyer finding out there was nowhere to run.
Anyways, that was about all I have on this episode. I really liked the episode, and the preview for next week seems like we are getting back on track.
**UPDATE**
I found this picture from the preview. This is what the weird thing was. It has an eyepatch, and if you remember, when Eko found the book with the missing footage, he also found a glass eye, I think that was in the Hatch on the other side of the island called The Arrow, is that right?

Heroes Part Five
I am watching this episode on Kacie's laptop, since my TiVo and the digital cable must not have changed to NBC last night to record Heroes. Anyways, I will write this while I watch, since it takes time to continue loading the episode and whatnot.
Okay, so the first part was awesome. Future Hiro explaining things to Peter, but Mohindar still not believing him, I guess Hiro should have told him something to get Mo' on board, unless that was not in the plan.
The QB did not die, but hopefully he will and hopefully his dying words will be "crazy bitch." Speaking of last words, what do you want yours to be? I have never thought about it before, but I believe you should always be prepared, haha.
Nathan flew. And it looks like it was fast enough to create a sonic boom, which means it was faster than the speed of sound. Travelling that fast has to be hard on his skin though. Also, did they mention that he was in the military? So maybe when he finally comes around and helps Peter, he will be a little more effective in hand to hand combat...
UPDATE:
Hiro and Ando's little exchange was great. They sound like an old married couple. But, the highlight is Nathan landing and Hiro seeing it. So we have Peter and Isaac, Hiro and Nathan (maybe Niki), and somehow they have to meet up and save Claire. I am convinced they are saving her from her dad, especially if they find her, and Nathan sees him...
Matt and his wife was sweet, he finally was using his powers to actually win her back, exactly what I would do.
UPDATE 2:
I really dislike watching it like this. Anyways, Nathan does not believe a word Hiro says, but I am sure while they are in the car Hiro will call Isaac and Peter will talk to him, Hiro will hear his name and hand the phone to Nathan. Okay, so that is wishful thinking...
UPDATE 3:
Matt is going to freak his wife out and probably cause her to leave. And yes I say that after they start having sex. I think in the long run knowing everything she thinks will be a problem, he has to tone it down a bit.
Peter painting should help prove to Isaac that he needs to help him. Hopefully with Peter's help he can unlock his power without drugs, but who knows. The drug angle is definitely interesting. Should he continue using drugs in order to know the future?
Favorite line of the episode: "Hollow him out. Take everything." Claire's dad pretty much just said he knows more about her than she does. So I am sticking by my prediction that he knew she was one when he adopted her.
UPDATE 4:
I am already seeing the downside to Matt's telepathy. Without control of it, you would easily go insane, being inundated with everyone's thoughts.
Nathan is a rather shrewd politicial, or maybe the term I am looking for is crooked, but who knows.
I cannot believe that Ando just shows up at Niki's house. Or that she uses her real name on her website. She is lucky she does not have pervs showing up everyday.
Also, I looked on IMDB, DL is not the same guy as the mysterious black dude that works for Claire's dad. They look alike, but not the same actor.
FINAL UPDATE:
Peter talks to Hiro. Really that is the most important thing. Unfortunately, I cannot watch the preview for next weeks episode. I cannot find it on nbc.com. If anyone knows where to watch it, let me know.
I was reading some comments people made on the site. Seems like many people think Sylar is actually Peter from the future, or possibly Peter/Nathan's dad. One idea is that Peter leeched onto Niki's power, but instead of it being some psychological disorder, it is actually like having a dark inner demon thing. Well it brings out Peter's. And he goes back in time, and starts stealing their powers. Now how would he do that? Well, maybe he eats their brains, or as someone said, a brain necklace (although that sounds stupid to me)...
I do not know how I feel about the idea of Sylar being Peter. It would be cool, but as Hiro said when he came back, if he stayed too long it could create a rift. If Sylar/Peter were back that long, wouldn't a rift also be created in which the possibility of that future never happens? And wouldn't Hiro mention to Peter, oh hey, do not become evil...or maybe not. Maybe Hiro must allow Peter to become evil in order to save the world? Confusing? Yeah, time travel can hurt your brain.
I do like the idea that Sylar is Peter and Nathan's father. Since Peter did tell Mohinder something like "I guess we are all just cheap knockoff's of our fathers."
Well, as always, let me know what you think. I promise never to write like this again either.

Clutchness
Clutch. We hear this term all the time in professional sports. David Ortiz is clutch, Alex Rodriguez is not. The term is complete BS though, there are no stats to prove someone is more clutch than someone else. I decided to try and find a way to compare players and came up with something, it is not perfect, but it gets my idea across I think. My biggest problem I had was when I saw on MLB.com, the all clutch team, which Freddy Sanchez was not a candidate. How could the NL Batting Champ not be clutch, so if you notice some of the players I compare him to are the 3Bs listed and others who are considered clutch, or not clutch.
I will present the stats as follows:
Player
Runners in Scoring Position (RISP): RBI/AB, RBI to AB Average, BA/OBP/OPS, K's, HR's
RISP w/2 Outs
Bases Loaded
Freddy Sanchez
RISP: 76/153, .497, .386/.425/.915, 15, 0

16/11, 1.455, .455/.647/1.283, 2, 0
David Ortiz
79/156, .506, .288/.429/.967, 29, 10
31/66, .470, .288/.447/.947, 13, 4

17/62, .274, .258/.361/.764, 15, 2
8/16, .500, .188/.263/.451, 4, 0
In my mind, being "clutch" means that when you have men on, you are the guy who usually brings them in, especially with two outs. Well it seems that at 3B, Freddy Sanchez was pretty much the best out of that group, he may not have the HR's, but he does not strike out as often as the others.
The two players always considered clutch, Ortiz and Jeter have excellent numbers (Jeter's are only like that for this year, every year before this they are much lower),but as you can see, Albert Pujols gets the nod as most clutch, he is the only one on here who is more often to hit a HR than to strike out. Also, notice that ARod is not as terrible as they acted like, except for the K's, he is still better than most at bringing in runs.
On the other hand, Jason Bay's numbers are not so good, but have more to do with what WHYGAVS pointed on this article.
Sometimes I wonder if we would even talk about players being clutch if there were never a Michael Jordan. Everytime MJ hit a buzzer beater to win the game, people would say, "my god, he is so clutch." And since then, every sport tries to find guys who are clutch or not clutch. Maybe clutch is a way to place blame on one person. Unfortunately, in team sports, it is never one person's fault, nor is it one person's glory, well except for that highschool pitcher a few years ago, who pitched a perfect game, and had the only hit in the game, which was a homerun, but even he needed a few fielders...
Anyways, hopefully these stats will amuse some of you out there, or something.

Lost: Episode 303
This episode of Lost was exciting, although I am sure some people will tell me they are not as interested anymore, but oh well.
Did Locke make some kind of psychotropic drug? If so, where did he get the ingredients? Boone comes back to the show as Locke's spirit guide, and says lots of cryptic things.
Anyone else think it was kind of weird that my poll made a joke about Desmond coming from the future, and he was naked because he travelled through time like the Terminator? Well it appears that was not just some funny joke, but in fact was probably right. Desmond tells Hurley that Locke made a speech, and then later he does make the speech. Desmond is from the future.
Hopefully Locke will have Mr. Ekko healed up and ready to go battle The Others, which on a side note, anyone else think it is funny how the rest of the Losties have no clue about The Others, or anything that goes on around the island? You know what those people are good for? Dying. Or prolonged backstories...
Speaking of backstories, Locke's was interesting. He lived on a hippy commune that grew lots of marijuana, and he had lots of guns. This does finally explain how he became all Rambo-esque. When does he become paralyzed and start working at a box company? Or lose his hair...
Charlie was cracking me up this episode, with all his smartass comments to Locke. Hopefully he will have a more interesting role this season, instead of crazy guy who tries to kidnap babies and debates using heroin everyday. I would like to see Ekko or Locke teach him to be a hunter or something.
I kept wondering when we would see the second polar bear. Since creepy Other dude told Sawyer that it took the bears two days to learn how to get the fish biscuit, I figured there must be another bear running around somewhere. Also, seems a bit weird that none of the Losties really explored the question, "why are there polar bears on a tropical island" after the first season. Granted, they have only been on the island for like fifty days, and survival is still the main thing, but come on, who wouldn't think about it? I know I would.
The preview for next week shows Sawyer being tortured and possibly dying, and Kate being asked if she loves him. I think Ekko, Locke, and Sayid could devise a plan to save them, but they will have to work together.

Lost Preview and Poll
This week on Lost, we get to see what happened inside the hatch. From what I am reading on other blogs and whatnot, it seems like people are losing interest in the show. I will not pretend that it has not been a somewhat disappointing start, but I am confident that things will start to pick up. Anyways, here is a fun poll to vote on before Wednesday.

Heroes Part 4
Wow. Where to even start. This show gets better every week. Let me recap what we learned this episode:
-Niki has some sort of secondary personality, it comes out to protect her. It is also the one with the power, which is probably strength.
-Peter is a mimic. I am upset that I did not think of this. It's what the main character of Hunter/Killer does, when he is around someone with superpowers he has their power while in their proximity. It is really useful in tracking, but also when large groups of super individuals are around each other, Peter could possibly have a buffet.
-Nathan gets a lap dance. Has nothing to do with powers, but still cool.
-Claire punished the QB, good for her. What does the phrase, save the cheerleader, save the world mean? Does it mean that she is going down a dark path? OR, save her from her adopted father?
-In the future, Hiro will be completely badass. Did you notice that he was wearing a sword? His English was almost perfect. I wonder if when Peter mimics abilities, if he also mimics their control? That's an interesting thing to put under the theory file.
-In the next episode preview we see Nathan fly, and not like a little bit, but full on, take off at high speed. Also we know he is the one taken by Claire's father, which probably means they disabled the camera, so now Niki will have to deal with more thugs who think she shirked her job.
Anyways, I may rewatch the episode and write more about it.

Interesting Experiment
Since most of the world has an iPod or some other mp3 player, I thought this would be an interesting and fun thing to talk about. On Brian K. Vaughn's site, he has an article a little ways down about how he was asked to write about five songs on his mp3 player that came up in order without skipping or selecting. Since my iRiver is broken, I decided to do this with winamp, but it is the same principle, and I hope some of you will find it interesting.
1. Radiohead--Life in a Glass House
As many of you know, I really dislike Radiohead. I download their stuff in hopes of better understanding, but to no avail. This song is okay, but really does nothing for me. I only really enjoy the songs of theirs that were pretty mainstream like Creep, or Paranoid Android...
2. Liam Lynch-United States of Whatever
This song I download because it was catchy and kind of funny. Now it borders on slightly annoying.
3. The Rolling Stones-You Got Me Rocking
Sweet, you cannot go wrong with the Stones. It reminds me of Denis Leary, when he says about opening his own bar, and all it plays is the Stones, 24/7. No trip, no hop, no house, no...well you have heard the skit, I am sure of it.
4. Fuel-Last Time
I have always been a big fan of Fuel. They are sort of a PA band, but not exactly. This was off their second album, Something Like Human (okay, I am not sure if that was their second album, they may have had one before self-titled album, but you get my point). When I first heard the album, this was my favorite song from it.
5. Hellacopters-No Angel to Lay Me Away
As most of you know, I am constantly trying to get people to listen to the Hellacopters. They are a great band, I can never say enough about them. This song came off their latest album Rockin' Roll is Dead. It's funny that on Viva La Bam, you can sometimes hear Hellacopters songs, but that has not seemed to help them catch on big over here, nor has it meant being able to find their albums or shirts in mainstream stores like Hot Topic, which has pretty much pushed HIM to a new level, but that is neither here nor there.

Fantasy Football Part Zwei
My team has lost it's last 3 games, dropping me to 2-3. It annoys me because I should be doing so much better. I have a feeling it will pick up, how long can two No. 2 receivers continue to keep the ball out of my receivers' hands? I have Chad Johnson and Muhsin Muhammad. Unfortunately those two are getting extra coverage and that leaves Housemanzadah (I have no clue how to spell it, forgive me) and Barrian open. Eventually that has to change, I cannot picture teams continuing to let TJ and Barrian open for so many big plays.
On my running back side, I have Tiki Barber, who has not been very reliable this season, but that might change. I picked up Marion Barber III who seems to get about a TD per game, my other RB is Maroney, but NE has a bye week. In my W/R slot, I threw in SF's A.Bryant. Shockey is my tight end, let's hope Manning can find him on the field...
Carolina's defense has been a huge disappointment so far, but last week they looked quite tough and maybe they can turn it around and start getting me more than 7 points per week.

Lost: Episode 302
"You taste like fish biscuits." Probably the funniest line I have heard on this show to date.
This episode definitely picked up the pace. Plus, it seems like my theory that Sawyer is a tougher guy than anyone previously thought was pretty much on the money. How cool was it that he took those two guys out and probably could have gotten away if Kate had not just stood there while a gun was pointed at her (granted it is not like she had much choice, but still).
The question I have is, has Jack given up? Will he cooperate in order to go home? And why would he want to return to a world where the Red Sox won the World Series? Jack seems like he is the type who would cooperate just to use it against them, and then make sure he was able to help his friends.
Sayid thinks he is a tactical genius, but come on folks, lets face it, if he were so brilliant then Iraq would have stood a much better chance in fighting us (and no, I do not want any political/military discussions about what is going on today). It seems like they want Sayid to come off as the Iraqi Jack Bauer, but in reality he is more like any of the secondary agents who always gets shot before Jack shows up. Sorry. I did not mean to go off on a 24 tangent there. Anyways, Sayid did not seem to think his plan through, what if their scout party consisted of 15 people?
Does anyone think Sun killed the guy she was sleeping with? I say she did, since he was holding the pearls. What was your interpretation?
The preview for next week shows what happened with Locke, Charlie, Desmond, and Ekko. And Desmond has no clothes on, interesting. James was telling me that he read a theory about the show that says the island is actually a gateway between dimensions or realities, and that is why when they failed to enter the code, the guys last season picked up a signal. That seems like an interesting idea, reminds me of in Sandman, the bar called, umm, hold on a second, The Inn at the World's End (yes I made you pause while I checked the comic, it only took a second, I promise). Also the writers have said before that people should start considering the idea that maybe the island is outside of our time and space...But that could also mean they read the same message boards and just want to push people in the wrong direction.
Anyways, I wish more of you were watching this now and not waiting for it on DVD, I am TiVo-ing the episodes and I am more than happy to let people come over and watch them or whatnot.

Smallville

On the last episode of Smallville we met the mysterious, rich, and very good looking (hey I am secure enough to say that) Oliver Queen, played by Justin Hartley. As many of you know Oliver is also known as the Green Arrow. By the end of the episode we see him firing his bow and from this picture we can see the green outfit. In Wizard they had a picture of his costume, it looked pretty sweet. Supposedly he is in Smallville trying to form a Justice League. The last episode had him having Lex kidnapped and testing to see if he still has the powers we saw from Zod's take over of his body. We also learned from Lionel that Lex and Ollie went to prep school together. In the Wizard interview, Justin says there will be a romance between his character and Lois, which could be quite interesting.
I am guessing he will soon discover Clark's powers and try to get him to join his new team. Which so far would probably comprise of Clark, Bart Allen (Impulse), Vic Stone (Cyborg), AC (Aquaman), and who knows who else. I have heard that we will probably not have an episode involving Bruce Wayne, even though it was hinted at before.
They should consider introducing the Martian Manhunter. He could be a cop from Denver who is known for being able to track any criminal (or maybe a U.S. Marshall, FBI type). Who comes to Smallville searching for some criminal and can sense Clark and wants to meet him, although I doubt the SFX money for Smallville would be able to make the shapeshifter look great, unless you have him as a human most times, and let him change to his green color once and then go back and say something like "my true form is usually too frightening for humans."

Heroes Part 3
Sorry everyone who was desperately waiting for my post about this episode. I TiVo'd it and then watched it this afternoon. Can I just say the quality of NBC's signal in this area is terrible. Has anyone else noticed it?
This episode has been my favorite so far. The cop was able to prove his mental skills to Clea DuVall, in fact it seemed fairly easy. She should have forced him to pull numbers out of her head, that would work better.
We still have no clue who the mysterious Syler is. But, it looks like we got a glimpse of his power, or powers. First we saw mind control, then either flight or teleportation. Maybe he eats the brains of his victims in order to gain their ability? It sounds a bit crazy, but in many sci-fi series (I know I am going way out on a limb here) some species of aliens (usually lizard-like) can eat the flesh of an enemy and become more like them. Okay I doubt that he is an alien lizard, but you get my point, whenever he eats their brains he gains their memories and their abilities. I am not putting all of my eggs in that basket yet, but it is the only theory I've got.
Claire almost gets raped. I was a little shocked as that was going on. I thought that was bold for NBC on a 9:00 show. But, I guess attempted rape and murder are okay at the 9:00 spot, just as long as there is no penetration. Can you imagine when the M.E. (medical examiner) pulls that stick out of her head and she comes back to life, what could that possibly be like for her? Is she basically just unconscious? Or does she die and visit the afterlife? These are all things to consider as we move along this series. Do you think the M.E. will shit himself when he comes back in and she's like "umm, hey, mind unpinning me from the table?" We see in the preview next week that she tries to wreck the car with the QB in it. Revenge is always cool, except that she will feel bad and decide she must help people with her power. Or become one super hot villian.
Niki. Well nothing really happened with her. We learn what the ring was and that maybe her husband killed all the men in the dessert or she killed them all and framed her husband, either way that still tells us squat about her powers.
Peter and Simone hooking up, kind of cool, but does that mean Isaac may get jealous and go after him? I doubt it. Hiro calling Isaac was kind of funny, since he was speaking a million words per minute. The ending with Hiro and Ando going to Las Vegas means we get to see our first team up. Hopefully this will finally explain Niki's powers. Also we get to see Ando drool all over Niki.
Did anyone notice who the writer of the show was? Jeph Loeb. He is a very big comic book writer and the consultant/one of the producers for Smallville. My only concern with him writing the show is it may get too comic bookish.
Anyways, as always I want to hear what you think.

New Phone
I need a new phone. Anyone have any suggestions? I think I would want one with a better camera, so that I could start taking pictures when I am outside and see really retarded people and then share them with all of you. For instance, I saw a girl today wearing pink pants, a pink hat, pink sunglasses, and she had pink streaks in her hair. I wanted to take a picture and write about it, I think something like "Pink is a color, not a lifestyle." Anyways, it's really not as much fun without a picture...

Baseball Predictions
Back when I had my livejournal, I wrote about my baseball predictions for this year. I predicted the NL pretty much on. I nailed the Mets and Cards, and I said the Dodgers would win the west, which was sort of right. The AL East I called, in fact I predicted the Red Sox would not make the playoffs and finish behind Toronto. I muffed up the central, I figured the ChiSox would repeat, oops. AL West, well I completely bungled that one, i said: Rangers, Angels, A's, Mariners. In actuality it was: A's, Angels, Rangers, Mariners. Okay so not as bad as I thought, I just mixed up the A's and Rangers.
Speaking of divisions I thought were better than they ended up: NL Central. I predicted Cards, Cubs, Astros, Buccos, Brewers, Reds....At least I got the cardinals right. It finished Cardinals, Astros, Reds, Brewers, Pirates, Cubs. Oh well, I had high hopes for the Pirates, my bad.
Predictions for the NLCS: Mets 4 Cards 2
ALCS: A's 4 Tigers 3
World Series: Mets 4 A's 3
Let me know your playoff thoughts...

Fantasy Football
Should I start Rex Grossman (playing against Buffalo) or Tom Brady (vs. Miami) this week in my fantasy league? I know what will happen, whoever I start will have a suckass game and I will drop to 2-3. Someone, anyone give me advice, hell I don't care if you watch football.

Lost: Episode 301
This episode seemed kind of slow, but so many little things were revealed to us. First off, The Others live normal lives, not the shitty little huts and dirty clothes that we usually see them in. Second, they seem to have some kind of connection to the outside world, how else could they get all the information on Jack that quickly. They are planning something for Kate, but what could it be? Torture? Rape? Watching Dukes of Hazard: The Movie over and over again? Who knows.
Did anyone else find it funny that Sawyer got tasered? I will count that as me being right that The Others would be the first to kick his ass. Although Jack got his clock cleaned by Juliet, which was pretty funny.
In the preview for next week we see Kate kissing Sawyer, and Sayid mounting a rescue mission. I have a feeling this first set of episodes (they are doing two 13 part series, with a small break in between instead of straight 26 weeks...) will be about the rescue, then the second part will be about what happened inside the Hatch. That's just my guess though. It would be interesting to learn more about The Others, to see their side of things.

Lost Season Premiere
Tonight is the first episode of the new season of Lost. I will be posting afterwards with my thoughts on the show. Some questions to consider
1) Is the island supernatural or can everything be explained?
2) What are The Others plans for Jack, Kate, and Sawyer?
3) What will happen to Michael and Walt?
4) Did Ekko, Locke, and Desmond survive? I would actually bet that Locke and Ekko did, and later in the season it will turn out Desmond is still alive somehow.
Anyways, let me know what you have been thinking about during the offseason. What questions has the show raised to you (I think Allison is the only person who watches the show who comments on here, so yeah, what do you think Allison?)

Heroes Part 2
The second episode just ended. Still not sure about Niki's power yet. I still think my idea that Claire's dad knew all along about her power, or that her power would someday develop is right on. Remember this show has that big conspiracy feel to it, so him adopting a child they thought would grow up with powers makes sense.
I wonder who Syler is and what his powers are? Is he like Iceman and eats brains? I was thinking about the ways Hiro could manipulate his powers and it started to blow my mind. If he can bend space-time that makes him extremely dangerous. For example, if you fire a gun at him, he could stop time and move the shooter in front of the bullet. I am sure Gideon can come up with even crazier ideas.
The chick that is helping out the doctor was also in the movie Brick, she is pretty hot. Sorry that is random, but just thought I would let you all know.
So Peter and Nathan can both fly, but maybe they can only fly when in proximity to each other (although Peter said in last episode that when he wakes up his foot hovers...)
The cop was cool, of all the powers to have, I would love to be able to read minds, especially if you can really probe someone's mind. Unfortunately for the cop he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He will sound crazy if he says he can read minds, but if he does not say it they believe him to be Syler.
Anyways, lets have some discussion on the show, and remember only 2 days until Lost!

This Week
Today is my birthday, how exciting is that? And tonight is the second episode of Heroes, hope everyone is going to watch it. Wednesday is the premiere of Lost, so I have a poll for everyone.
